Tour Point 12

(Photos 42, 43) The next intersection is rue Vieille du Temple (Old Temple Road). On the corner to the right is one of the older landmark buildings in the area. We’ll take a left onto rue Vieille du Temple and head into the heart of Le Marais.

(Photos 44, 45) Walking down rue Vieille du Temple, you’ll see an Issey Miyake store followed by a new clothing store called Sandro and several small restaurants on your right. The next street is rue des Blancs Manteaux (White Coats Street, named after a particular order of nuns) which has several interesting boutiques on it. On the corner is the "Gamin de Paris" (Kid of Paris), which is a nice, casual restaurant that doesn’t take reservations. We’ll continue straight ahead.
