Tour Point 13

(Photos 42, 43) Be careful of the traffic, rue Vieille du Temple is quite busy and there are plans to make it a pedestrian-only street in the future. As you walk down the street, you can glance left and see Chez Marianne again along rue des Rosiers which is the center of the local Jewish quarter. Further to your right you’ll see a store that sells retro art and objects along with several clothing stores. Further along the way are many small restaurants, brasseries and stores including a cute café called “L’Etoile Manquante” with a very attractive, contemporary interior.

(Photos 44, 45) Further down the street is "Fer de Cheval" (The Horseshoe Tavern) and "Café Philosophe" (Philosophy Café). In the distance, you can see a street to the left (rue du Trésor) which was planted a few years ago with many trees and flowers and has even more restaurants and stores. “La Belle Hortense” is an attractive wine bar with a literary theme.
