Tour Point 16

(Photos 54, 55) A quick glance left down rue du Plâtre and you can see the Pompidou Center with all its colored pipes. Ineke and I lived on this street for two years prior to moving to rue Elzévir. Continue on rue des Archives, and you’ll pass several ATM machines if you need cash. Further down rue des Archives we again come across rue des Blancs Manteaux where there is a well-known spa called “Les Bains du Marais”.

Paris Apartment for Rent

(Photo 56, 56B) After rue des Blancs Manteaux, there are various food, chocolate, jewelry etc. stores and another good florist called "Double Pensée". The next intersection is rue Rambuteau to your left and rue des Francs Bourgeois to your right. If you return later, walk down rue Rambuteau to the nearest pharmacy on your left and a wide range of restaurants and specialty food stores, like the above-pictured Italian traiteur, which is particularly good.
