Tour Point 18

(Photos 61, 62) Continuing our walk, you’ll pass some large office and government buildings. If any of the doors are open, they are worth a peek as the courtyards are often magnificent, and the original architecture is often meticulously maintained. On your right is a well-known restaurant “Dome de Marais”. Soon on your left, you’ll see a great store called "Nickel", where you can get high quality men’s care products and esthetic services.

(Photos 63, 64) Across the street is our favorite hair salon. You also can spot the bus stop for line 29, which takes you through our neighborhood and runs from the area around the big department stores such as Galeries Lafayette and Printemps to the Bastille. (You can catch it on rue du Parc Royal in the opposite direction.) Also, next to the Coiffeur is a sumptuous chocolate store which has Bertillon ice cream.
You are now returning back to rue Vieille du Temple and are about three-quarters through the tour.
