Tour Point 19

(Photos 65, 66) Take a left on rue Vieille du Temple and you’ll come across some additional galleries and boutiques including another nice tea store called “Le Palais des Thés”. While passing rue Barbette, you can look down this street and see the gardens that are on rue Elzévir, which we’ll see at the very end of the tour. Continue straight ahead past several clothing shops and a new restaurant called “Des Gars dans la Cuisine”.

(Photos 67, 68) After passing several clothing stores including a children’s shop that has cute, hand-knit, finger puppets, you’ll see the closest supermarché (G20) to our apartment. At the next corner is a popular little brasserie with a young artistic clientele called “La Perle”. At this intersection, we’ll continue straight ahead. If you go left one block, you’ll find a nice brasserie with a very big terrace called “La Terrase” and you will pass rue Charlot which is very charming with nice stores and restaurants. A better supermarché is just past “La Terrase” on the left called Monop at 5 rue des Haudriettes.
