Tour Point 2

(Photos 3,4) As you approach to exit the main building door, there are a pair of small buttons to your left. One is marked "lumière" to turn on the lights and the other is marked "porte" to unlock the door. Press the latter button and you’ll hear a faint click. Pull the handle to open the door and exit. Immediately to the left as you exit is Alex’s wine shop, Cave Elzévir, with a great choice of wines and champagnes. We’ll be back there at the end of the tour.

(Photos 5,6) Turning right from the door, you’ll see your first café which has good light lunch fare. Make a right and while walking straight ahead, you’ll see several small art galleries on both your left and right and a nice little café called the Royal Bar to have a late afternoon coffee/tea and dessert. It generally closes by 5:00-6:00 p.m. If you have a chance, mention to the owner Alain that you are staying at Bill & Ineke’s apartment in the building. As you walk ahead, you’ll pass another casual café on the corner called "Le Sevigné".
