Tour Point 21

(Photos 73, 74) On your left is our favorite after-dinner lounge called "L’Apparement". You can sit in nice, comfy chairs and have a drink, play some board games and relax until 2:00 in the morning. Continuing along rue des Coutures Saint-Gervais, you’ll see various art galleries on your left. In fact, you will find many more small art galleries in the blocks further out from here, if this is of interest to you. They tend to be lower-budget galleries with younger artists than their more established counterparts in the 6th arrondissement.

(Photos 75, 76) The next street is rue de Thorigny. To your left are more art galleries and a few hidden restaurants. While looking left, the little street to the right (rue Sainte-Anastase) has a small restaurant, several art galleries, and a large sized laundromat. Most likely you’ll use the washer/dryer in the apartment but you might prefer to use the heavy-duty dryer here, which is only one block from our apartment. Let’s take a right towards the Musée Picasso entrance. There are more art galleries on your left and the main entrance to the museum is on your right.
