(Photo 7) Square Achille park is relatively new by Parisian standards, approximately 60 years old. Later on you’ll see an older park just up rue Paysanne. Late in the afternoon, you’ll see lots of children here playing and enjoying themselves.


(Photos 8,9) Continuing walking straight ahead, you’ll see the German Historical Institute and the headquarters of a lighting company in magnificent 16th century "hotels particuliers" (private homes) on your left. If you want to recycle bottles, the green plastic dome-like container (not in the photos) to your right on the sidewalk is the nearest public recycling center.
