You should definitely consider coming back one day to visit the museum, which is free to enter except for special exhibits. Going back to rue des Francs Bourgeois, you can see an ancient patisserie that is now a store.

(Photos 28, 29) Continuing along rue des Francs Bourgeois, there is garden to your left to relax in and the gardens of the Musée Carnavalet to your right.
