(Photos 26, 27) Take a quick glance into the Musée Carnavalet to see the courtyard. You should come back one day to visit the museum, which is free to enter except for special exhibits. Going back to rue des Francs Bourgeois, you can see a patisserie that is now a store.

(Photos 28, 29) Continuing along rue des Francs Bourgeois, there is private garden to your left and the gardens of the Musée Carnavalet to your right.
